Chan Cam Street was blocked off for several hours to ensure the event went smoothly. Notably, Chapter Dining was the first restaurant chosen for Janet Yellen and her colleagues to dine at.

Special Event – U.S. Secretary of the Treasury dined at Chapter Dining
During a 3-day business trip to Vietnam, the U.S. Department of the Treasury selected Chapter Dining as its first dining restaurant in Hanoi. Although the reservation had been made well in advance, Secretary Janet Yellen and members’ identities were kept strictly confidential. It was only after the meal concluded that the staff at Chapter Dining realized they had the honor of hosting such distinguished guests.

This secrecy, however, underscored the restaurant’s commitment to impeccable service and professionalism, which was highly praised by the U.S. Treasury delegation. Chapter Dining was honored to receive commendations from Secretary Janet Yellen. Thanks to the team’s extensive experience in hosting important guests, the 3-hour dinner proceeded smoothly and flawlessly.
